We celebrate God’s abundant mercy in the sacrament of Reconciliation. It is in this sacrament that we celebrate God’s forgiveness in the best possible way.

It does not matter how long or how short a tie it has been since one’s last confession, or  how grave the sins may be. The Church is ready with open arms to receive those who wish to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness through this sacrament of healing.

Individual confession is offered every Saturday, 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and by appointment.

Catechesis for the Sacrament of Reconciliation takes place before a student is prepared to receive First Holy Eucharist and opportunities to receive the sacrament are presented from that time and each year after, during Faith Formation or School classes. Students and parents attend two family gatherings at St. Regis. The First Reconciliation liturgies take place during the season of Advent.

There is no cost to First Reconciliation preparation but we need to plan for those who will be in the program. This is over and above the catechesis that will be received in school religion or faith formation classes.

Reconciliation Retreat

The children preparing for their First Reconciliation during their retreat made a chain to symbolize and remind them of Jesus’ never ending love and forgiveness for each of us.  Please pray for them as they prepare to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the month of December.
