Katie Brydges, Principal

Mrs. Brydges is a certified teacher and administrator with more than 15 years of experience within the world of education and the Archdiocese of Detroit.  She holds a Masters of Reading from Eastern Michigan University as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership from Madonna University. Prior to joining St. Regis she served as a teacher at All Saints Catholic School and as principal of St. Anselm Catholic School.

Mrs. Brydges was appointed a member at-large to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools (MANS) in November 2016. MANS is a Christian ecumenical group that comprises the seven Catholic dioceses in Michigan, Christian Schools International and the Lutheran Schools in Michigan. MANS has three major purposes: provide advocacy to levels of government; support growth in educational technology; and promote cooperation between private schools and public school districts. Mrs. Brydges has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the core purposes of MANS. She is recognized for her expertise in the MANS Accreditation process.  She has served as the chairperson on many Accreditation teams as well as Regional Coordinator of Accreditation.

Mrs. Brydges has a passion for education and learning. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband.
