Bill Farrand

Mr. Bill Farrand, 8th Grade Social Studies and Physics Teacher, Science Co-Chair

Mr. Farrand has lived most of his life in Catholic education. He graduated from eighth grade at St. Anne’s in Monroe, and from Sts. Peter and Paul Seminary in Newark, Ohio. He attended Maryglade Seminary at the University of Detroit and completed his BA in History and Philosophy at the University of Detroit. He earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University, and he completed all the pre-requisite courses for the permanent diaconate formation program at Sacred Heart Seminary.

He taught Theology, American History, and Government at St. Mary of Redford High School for seven years. He spent 11 years in Catholic School Administration before coming to St. Regis in 2002. He was nominated as Teacher of the Year by  St. Regis Catholic School parents in the 2014-15 school year.
