Carissa Madley

Ms. Carissa Madley- Vocal Music Department Chair, Theatre Director

Ms. Madley is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education, grades K-12.  She has taken post-baccalaureate classes at the University of Michigan- Dearborn as well as at  Madonna University and has earned a second endorsement in English, grades 6-12.

Ms. Madley joined the St. Regis team in 2003.  Besides teaching general music classes in the elementary, she teaches various academy electives including a choral group which has competed in both Solo and Ensemble competition sponsored by the Michigan School Vocal Music Association as well as the Music in the Parks festival where they have earned both first and second place trophies.  Ms. Madley is proud to have started a theatre department and has put on school musicals each spring since 2011, as well as a bi-annual school talent show.  She is also proud to be assisting the National Junior Honor Society.

In her spare time, Ms. Madley is a proud member of the Players Guild of Dearborn where she is happy to be practicing her own performance skills as well as helping out on the props committee for various productions.  She also has music directed for the Crestwood High School Drama Club in Dearborn Heights off and on for the past five seasons.
