Christine Darin

Christine Darin, Academy Religion Teacher 

Mrs. Christine Darin is delighted to join the St. Regis community and continue her commitment to Catholic education. Recognizing the strong foundation that Catholic schools provide for the moral, spiritual and academic development of our youth comes from her own educational experiences. Mrs. Darin attended St. Bede Catholic School and Marian High School. She has spent the last 16 years of her career at Brother Rice High School as the Director of Counseling.

Mrs. Darin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the school and community setting. She earned a Bachelor of General Studies and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the School of Education and Human Services at Oakland University. She has been a volunteer counselor at Our Lady of Guadalupe Middle School for Girls in southwest Detroit, and was also a Board member of the Curriculum Committee at Kensington Academy.

Mrs. Darin is looking forward to nurturing the spiritual growth and Catholic formation of St. Regis students. Her areas of special interest and formal study include The Bible as Literature, Science and Religion, Cultural Diversity, and the History of Religion in Art.
