Tricia Florance

Mrs. Tricia Florance, Academy Teacher, Social Studies Department Chair, National Junior Honor Society Advisor

Mrs. Florance earned her B.A. in Industrial Psychology from the University of Detroit and worked in management until her children were born. Once her children started attending school, Mrs. Florance volunteered in their school and decided to pursue her teaching certification and master’s degree. She taught at St. Clare of Montefalco in Grosse Pointe Park while working on her teaching certification in Social Studies and Mathematics. After receiving her teaching certification, Mrs. Florance worked in the middle school at Gesu Catholic School in Detroit where she taught Social Studies, Mathematics, and Religion. Mrs. Florance joined the St. Regis team in 2011 years ago and has taught Religion, Mathematics and Social Studies. While working at St. Regis she completed her Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Detroit Mercy. In her spare time, Mrs. Florance enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and gardening.
