St. Regis Giving Tree
Each year, our St. Regis parish supports many families in need around the metro-Detroit area. This year, our school has committed to adopting families from Detroit’s St. Charles Lwanga and St. Moses the Black parishes. The usual gift-giving experience will be a bit different this year, but these two communities are still counting on our generosity.
Since we are learning virtually this week, all donations and gifts are to be brought to the church at the weekend masses on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6. Runners will be available for curbside pick-up as well.
Please take a look at the following links to see if your family can donate gifts and needed items for these families and children.
- St. Charles Lwanga – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0D44ABAD22A7F49-giving
- St. Moses the Black – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050B4CAAA822ABF85-giving
The gifts are to be wrapped and clearly labeled with St. Charles Lwanga or St. Moses the Black, and a clear item description should also be attached to the gifts.
Volunteers are also needed at church that weekend to help carry, organize, and transport gifts.

If you have any questions about the Giving Tree, please contact Tracee Tewilliager.
Thank you for helping to bring Christmas blessings to those in need!

Advent By Candlelight – Sunday December 6
Normally, we would be braving the Michigan elements with our finest china and maybe a bottle of wine in hand as we settle into the gym for an evening of prayer and reflection. This year, we will gather in spirit via livestream, on Sunday, December 6 at 5:00PM.
As always, the evening will include powerful speeches, lovely music and meaningful time for reflection.
Allow yourself a pause in the business of life to experience and accept the gifts of the season: JOY, PEACE, HOPE, and LOVE.
Please join us as we pray for each other and those around us who need it most.
Please register here to join the event virtually, and the link will be sent to you later this week.
We welcome you to share this event and link in order to widen our circle and strengthen our prayers. We will miss being side by side with you but look forward to feeling the love and warmth that always fills the room.
