St. Regis Weekly E-News
There will be NO SCHOOL Friday, October 2 for staff and students.
The Archdiocese of Detroit Department of Catholic Schools along with the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools, our accrediting body has given us permission to adjust the calendar as needed due to the current national situation.
We would like to use these days to perform a deep sanitization of the building throughout the school year and have adjusted the calendar to reflect these days.
Even with these adjustments we are exceeding the minimum required amount of contact time per school year.
All updates are highlighted in Yellow.
House Shirts: Deadline TOMORROW October 1st!
All students, teachers and staff members belong to a ‘House’ named after a Saint and Fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Watch this short video to learn more about our House System.) All students should have a House T-Shirt to wear at House meetings and competitions, so click HERE to purchase yours today! New students can select “New Student Shirt” and the correct size, while returning students have the option of using their shirt from last year or purchasing a new one in the correct color/house and size. Also, NEW THIS YEAR, we have House Hoodies and House Blankets available for purchase as well!
There will be NO KIDS CLUB on October 28 & 30 due to half-day dismissal.

Kids Club will be open daily from 3:10-5:30 pm (at this time).
The following procedures will be implemented this year:
- All students must submit the Kids Club form before attending the first time!
- All students and staff will be required to wear a mask
- A maximum of 12 students will be allowed each day
- Students may not share materials, snacks, or devices
- Students must be signed up in advance (via Signup Genius)
- Daily drop-ins are not allowed
- A minimum of $100 must be pre-added to your Kid’s Club Account. Payment will be deducted based on attendance
If a student is going to be tardy/absent please email their homeroom/first hour teacher and copy (cc) the front office ( firstname.lastname@example.org )
You may also call the office at 248-724-3377 ext 5040 to report the absence or tardiness.
Preschool, Young Fives, Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th will be screened on October 15, 16, and 19.
Any students in grades 1, 3, and 5 that need a test can do so with a note from a parent.
Please make an appointment to stop in Threads and More for your blue oxfords, khaki and blue pants, ties,uniforms skirts and jumpers.

ST. REGIS ADVANCEMENT
Barre Class SUccess!
Registrants raised $1,130 for St. Regis by attending this event! It was so lovely to be together (outdoors and socially distant) to work out on this gorgeous fall afternoon! Check out our photos on the St. Regis Facebook Page!
Drive Through Cider Mill @ St. Regis – Friday, October 16
Pick up fresh Michigan apples, local cider and delicious cider mill donuts without braving the weekend crowds!
How will it work? Pre-order your selected package by Monday, October 11, and pick up in the afternoon car line on Friday, October 16! (Ordering opens next week.) Volunteers needed to help with carline delivery, contact Andrea Ciaravino to help. All proceeds support St. Regis Catholic School.

Classroom air purifiers
You raised $14,685! This covers air purifiers for every classroom and workspace in the building, plus a set of replacement filters for each unit. Any remaining funds will be used for additional COVID related purchases and PPE. Due to high demand, some of the units are still in transit. Photos will be posted as soon as all items have been delivered.
