Discipleship Formation for Youth
Growing in Faith Together
Children
At St. Regis Parish, children and families can deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, prepare for the Sacraments, and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Discipleship Formation, sacramental preparation, and parish life, we help each person discover the joy of knowing, loving, and following Christ.
Because faith is nurtured first and foremost within the family, our parish staff and dedicated volunteers encourage, equip, and accompany parents as they pass on the Catholic faith to their children and continue their lifelong journey of faith together.

Our Discipleship Formation program welcomes students in grades 1–8 to come together, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and discover the joy of living their Catholic faith. Sessions are held on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. throughout the academic year.
With the guidance and encouragement of dedicated volunteer catechists, students explore their faith through engaging lessons, meaningful conversations, prayer, and activities that connect faith to everyday life. Along the way, they are accompanied by adults who share their own faith and help them recognize God’s presence in their lives.
Discipleship Formation extends beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, students have opportunities to pray as a community, celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and gather together for Mass. These shared experiences help our young people grow closer to Christ, deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, and discover their place within the life and community of the Church.
We invite your family to join us as we grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and journey together as disciples of Christ.
Please contact the parish office to register your child for class.
Family Discipleship Formation offers families a welcoming and flexible way to grow in their Catholic faith together throughout the academic school year. With parents as the primary educators of their children, families are supported with engaging lessons, meaningful resources, and opportunities to pray, reflect, and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ—all from the comfort of home.Â
To nurture a strong sense of parish community, families also gather once a month on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Â These gatherings provide a wonderful opportunity to come together, share in faith, build relationships, and encourage one another on the journey.
We invite families to learn, pray, and grow together as we continue to build a vibrant community of faith and help our children discover the joy of following Jesus.
Please contact the parish office to learn more and register your family for this program.
