The tradition of giving back to God and to the Church comes from the Biblical practice of “tithing,” which literally means to give back a tenth of our earnings to God (Numbers 18:26).  More importantly than any amounts, stewardship/tithing is about prayerfully considering how to offer God our “first fruits” and not just what remains after taking care of everything else.

We know both the value of and the hard-work behind all monetary gifts to St. Regis Parish and will strive to be transparent with how we use those gifts and responsible in using them.

The Parish Finance Council works with the pastor to prepare a balanced budget, review monthly expenditures, approve larger capital expenditures, and offer administrative advice for the good of the parish.
